I'm a product-oriented full-stack Ruby on Rails developer with a background in web design, graphic design, and photography. I was also one of National Geographic's Travelers of the Year and consider myself a huge Carl Sagan nerd.

Built and maintained customer-facing and internal interfaces with Ruby on Rails APIs and Ember.js front-ends that help make the business of scientific research more efficient. Also doubled as unofficial staff photographer.

The Democratic Travelers Co-captain, Jan. 2012 - July 2015

An on-going project traveling the United States, living and working out of an Airstream trailer, with all stops along the trip being crowd-sourced through a custom-built web app that solicits suggestions and allows users to vote on where we go. Served as the only employee of the advertising photography giant, wearing the following hats (including, but not limited to): digital/analog archive manager, scan/retouch/printer, webmaster (I built his first ever website), personal assistant (booking travel, handling bills, etc.), and even superintendent of his 35,000 sq. ft. Manhattan building (cleaning, general handyman work).

Designed tee-shirts sold in premiere L.A. boutiques and built and maintained the company website for an Atlanta-based tee-shirt and promotional products company.
